Diwali Celebrations at Baale Mane

Diwali is the five-day Festival of Lights, celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs and Jains across the world. Diwali, which for some also coincides with harvest and new year celebrations, is a festival of new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil, and light over darkness. We put together a video of our Diwali Festival celebrations, which included a celebratory meal, lamp lighting and some dance performances by the girls, along with other fun events.

What does Diwali mean to you?

“I like Diwali because it is a traditional festival in our India. We celebrate it very grandly in our houses in India. So I like Diwali!”
