Friends of Baale Mane Trust is now registered with Fundraising Regulator. It is the independent regulator of charitable fundraising in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. By working in partnership with other regulators and representative bodies in the charitable and fundraising sectors, they help to build public confidence and ensure consistent fundraising standards across the UK. The Baale Mane Advisory Board is constituted of the Trustees of The Baale Mane Trust and members of the trustees of The Friends of Baale Mane. It holds at least one face to face meeting in India each year when two or more trustees of The Friends of Baale Mane are present. More frequent virtual meetings are held. The Board is responsible for strategy and direction and the approval of all senior hires. It also approves the annual budget.
The Friends of Baale Mane have a policy that trustees must donate funds that exceed any expenses they incur, such that all third party donations are passed to Baale Mane Trust without overhead.
